Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how 2min2speak handles data when it uses the YouTube API Services through its internal publishing tool. It completes our general privacy policy for learners: Chính sách bảo mật.

1. Who we are

2min2speak is an English-speaking practice program run by Sophie Tran. Contact: 2min2speak@gmail.com.

2. Our use of YouTube API Services

2min2speak uses a private desktop tool, built on the YouTube Data API v3, for one purpose only: to upload our own educational videos to our own YouTube channel (2min2speak) and to set their title, description, tags and thumbnail.

The tool is used only by the channel owner. It is not offered to the public and no third-party user can sign in to it.
It does not read, collect or analyze data about YouTube viewers, subscribers or other channels.

By using any 2min2speak feature that relies on YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Data accessed, used and stored

OAuth access token for the 2min2speak channel: stored only on the owner's computer, in a local file that is never published or shared.
Video files and their metadata (title, description, tags, thumbnail): created by 2min2speak and sent to YouTube to publish them.

We do not collect, store or share any personal data of YouTube users through the YouTube API Services. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies in connection with the YouTube API Services, and we do not share any API data with third parties.

4. Data retention and deletion

The OAuth token is kept only as long as the tool is in use. It can be deleted at any time by removing the local token file.
Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once access is revoked, the tool can no longer access the YouTube account.
Videos uploaded to YouTube can be deleted at any time in YouTube Studio.
To request the deletion of any data related to 2min2speak, email 2min2speak@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data". We confirm within 7 working days and delete within 30 days.

5. Security

The site and the API connections use encrypted HTTPS. Credentials and tokens are kept offline on the owner's computer and are never included in published content.

6. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use the YouTube API Services, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
